Protection Dogs

Trained for Excellence

At Command Control Protection Dogs (CCPD), our protection dogs begin their training at a very young age—starting as early as five weeks old. From the start, we introduce them to a leash and collar, taking them everywhere we go. They are exposed to various environments, surfaces, and socialized with children and other animals to build a solid foundation for their development.

We also incorporate obedience training early on, using elevated surfaces to introduce stress. While behaviours like tracking, biting, and jumping come naturally to dogs, obedience is not instinctive. By working with young dogs on elevated, slippery surfaces, we teach them to manage stress, making obedience training more effective and natural for them.

What is a Protection Dog ?

A well-trained protection dog is much more than a guard dog. It’s a dog with a wide range of skills that you can confidently take anywhere—whether to a shopping mall, airport, or park—without any concerns. These dogs are social, highly obedient, environmentally confident, and capable of seamlessly transitioning into protection mode when needed to safeguard you and your family.

The Importance of Personal Deliver

When you purchase a CCPD dog, we include a comprehensive 2- to 3-day handling course conducted at your home or office. This ensures that you and your family feel completely comfortable and confident working with your new dog.

What to Expect on Your Delivery

As part of this process, you will receive a detailed video of the handling course for future reference. Additionally, we offer optional follow-up handling courses. We recommend scheduling follow-ups three months after the initial course, again at six months, and then annually.

Follow -up Courses

These follow-up courses help reinforce your dog’s training, strengthen the bond between you and your dog, and ensure that you and your family remain confident and equipped to handle any situation. By maintaining consistent training, you’ll continue to enjoy the unmatched companionship and protection of your CCPD dog.
