Family Protection Dog

The Ultimate Choice for Family Safety: Family Protection Dogs

What is a Family Protection Dog?

Without a doubt, one of the most asked questions we get on the phone is what is the difference between a family protection dog, personal protection dog, and a protection dog? A common misunderstanding is that a family dog is a dog that will lie down by the front door and wait for an intruder to come in.

This could be no further from the truth; a good dog has interaction with its family, whether it’s playing in the backyard with the children, going to the park, or merely hanging around the living room where the family is engaged watching a movie.

Our Dogs

Our dogs have strong nerves, environmentally strong, clearheaded, stable, and balanced, but yet calm in everyday life. Our dogs are not prey-happy, out-of-control, high-driven animals.

From a young age, our dogs are exposed to a variety of different environments. We place all our young dogs at a very young age with one of our trainers.

Our trainers take the dogs home with them every night to assure that they have interaction with children and other animals.

This ensures that when you take delivery of any one of our dogs, our dogs are very comfortable in a home environment. We do not kennel our dogs at Command Control Protection Dogs.

Real-world Environment

We at CCPD believe you must work your dog in the environment that they will be placed in. We work all our family protection dogs with children and other animals. We role-play our dogs going to a school for a school drop-off and pick-up. We take our dogs to shopping malls, airports, and parks.

We work our dogs around wheelchairs, quads, and bicycles. We go one step further than our competitors and take our dogs camping with us so the dogs are comfortable in the outdoor natural environment,

Whether it’s going for a hike or hanging around the campfire. This ensures a smooth transition of ownership with one of our dogs.
