Protection Dogs for Sale in Connecticut
The State of Opportunity
Connecticut is known as the “state of opportunity,” and Forbes says it has 15 billionaires living here. At CCPD, we have placed many family protection dogs in Connecticut, which is one of my favourite states to visit, especially Hartford. The real estate is amazing, with homes surrounded by beautiful trees. Each house is unique, and no two look the same; they all have their own character.

Population of Connecticut
According to the latest U.S. Census Bureau estimate from July 1, 2024, Connecticut’s population is about 3,675,069. Having visited this state many times, I see that with nearly 3.8 million people, it is a diverse place with many different cultures. I also appreciate how close Connecticut is to New York.
Connecticut borders New York and is right next to New York City. For example, it’s only about 35 miles (56 km) from Stamford, Connecticut, to Manhattan, NYC. The drive takes around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. This makes it easy to visit the busy city for shopping and then return to the quiet neighborhoods of Connecticut.
One of the great things about buying one of our protection dogs—whether it’s an executive protection dog, family protection dog, or elite protection dog—is that you can take them into downtown New York without any issues. Our dogs are strong and can adjust well to busy environments like New York City.
Overall Crime Rate in Connecticut
Even though Connecticut is one of our busier states, the crime rate is quite low. I believe this is because many families are smart and take precautions to stay safe. It’s common for families receiving a dog from us to already have security cameras, alarm systems, and firearms, along with a good protection dog.
According to the World Population Review, Connecticut’s total crime rate is about 181.6 per 100,000 people, which makes it the fourth lowest in the country. Connecticut is often ranked among the top 3 to 5 safest states in the U.S. regarding violent and overall crime and has shown recent improvements in reducing both violent and property crime.
